πŸ“„ The raw transcripts from UserTesting only carry β€œTask 1 / Task 2” markers β€” no question text. SKILL 1 matched each answer back to its question (shown below as Q) so the session is readable. In a live run with the Google Drive MCP connected, this view links to the actual Google Doc.
Scenario (read to every participant)Imagine you placed a grocery delivery order. Some items may be out of stock, so the store could substitute them. You're on the β€œSubstitutions” screen to review and adjust which items can be replaced. Look at the page as you normally would. There are no right or wrong answers β€” please think out loud.

Q1Don't tap anything yet β€” what stands out to you?
Right at the top there are these little tabs β€” All, Will be replaced, Don't replace, Ineligible. Each one has a number on it. I like that, I can tell at a glance how many things are in each bucket. Under it is just a list of my groceries with pictures.
Q2How many of your items will be replaced if they're out of stock?
The "Will be replaced" tab says six. So six. That was easy, the number's right there on the tab.
Q3Which items will NOT be replaced?
The "Don't replace" tab has two β€” my milk and the eggs.
Q4Find "Lipton Noodle Soup Mix" β€” will it be replaced?
I'll tap the All tab. There it is, it's got the "will be replaced" status, so yes.
Q5You don't want your milk replaced β€” show me how.
Tap the milk row, there's a toggle "allow substitution," switch that off. And now it jumps over to the Don't replace tab.
Q6Which items can't be substituted at all, and why?
The Ineligible tab has two β€” the Coors beer and the Bayer pain reliever. Alcohol and medicine. The word "ineligible" is kind of corporate though, I'd just say "can't be swapped."
Q7In your own words, what does this screen let you do?
Decide what I'm okay with them swapping versus what I want exactly, before they shop it.
Q8Confidence your preferences are set right? (1–5)
A 5. The tabs made it really clear.
Q9How clear was this screen? (1–5)
Also a 5. Easy.

Q1Don't tap anything yet β€” what stands out to you?
A row of tabs at the top with numbers, and my grocery items underneath. Clean. The tabs say All, Will be replaced, Don't replace, Ineligible.
Q2How many will be replaced?
Six. The "will be replaced" tab literally says six next to it.
Q3Which won't be replaced?
Don't replace says two β€” the milk and eggs.
Q4Find "Lipton Noodle Soup Mix."
I'll stay on All and scroll. There. It says it'll be replaced.
Q5Stop your milk from being replaced.
Open the milk and turn off the substitute option. Found the switch.
Q6Which can't be substituted, and why?
Ineligible has two β€” the beer and a medication. Honestly I wasn't sure what "ineligible" meant at first β€” I had to tap it to realize it means these can't be substituted at all.
Q7What does this screen let you do?
Manage which of my items can be replaced if they're out of stock.
Q8Confidence? (1–5)
Four. Pretty confident, just that one word threw me for a second.

Two won't, they're under Don't replace. The milk and the eggs.
Q4Find "Lipton Noodle Soup Mix."
I tapped "Will be replaced" first, then realized I could just use All. It's there, it'll be replaced. β€” and actually the eggs are the ones I'd keep, not replace. [answer drifts back to Q3]
Q5Stop your milk from being replaced.
Tap the milk, toggle off substitution. It moves to Don't replace.
Q6Which can't be substituted, and why?

It's a list with grey section headers I can tap to open and close β€” Saved preferences, Select preferences, Ineligible items. Everything's kind of stacked.
Q2How many will be replaced?
I open "Select preferences"... that one has six. I think six. I had to expand it to be sure though.
Q3Which won't be replaced?
The Saved preferences group, two are set to don't replace β€” the milk and eggs.
Q4Find "Lipton Noodle Soup Mix."
Let me open Select preferences again β€” when I opened Ineligible the whole page jumped and I lost where I was. Okay, found it, it'll be replaced.
Q5Stop your milk from being replaced.
Open Saved preferences, tap milk, switch off substitute. But then the section I had open collapsed and everything moved up β€” disorienting.
Q6Which can't be substituted, and why?
Ineligible items section, two β€” the beer and the medication. Makes sense.

Filter chips at the top and a list of groceries. Standard filter list layout.

Q4Find "Lipton Noodle Soup Mix."
Found it in the list, it's set to replace.

Chips along the top to filter, and my items below. There seem to be a couple more categories than I expected.
Q2How many will be replaced?
A few? Maybe five or six? When I tap a filter it just shows that group but I never see the overall number. I'd be guessing.
Q3Which won't be replaced?
Don't replace filter β€” two items, milk and eggs.
Q4Find "Lipton Noodle Soup Mix."
On the All chip, scroll, there it is, replace.
Q5Stop your milk from being replaced.
